I'm on 5 hours of sleep - nobody's fault but my own - but I'm blaming that for my current brainstorm. So far as I can tell, most of my fans in the US are on the east coast, so I was thinking of doing a sort of "tour" there. I would fly in to Boston, MA, hitch a ride to New York, NY and then stop in Baltimore, MD before flying home. Can't be away longer than a week. I'd have to do a separate tour for the rest of the east coast, and I'd probably have to stop in two places in Florida.

I'd need people in all 3 cities to let me sleep on their couches. I'd need a reliable way to get a wifi connection. If the people hosting me couldn't drive me 3+ hours to my next destination, I'd probably need to scour the rideshare section on Craigslist or catch a Greyhound. Ugh... Greyhound. It would be cool if I could do shows with other SL musicians who could hopefully bring laptops. I did a couple shows with Cylindrian Rutabaga, and we hooked up one laptop to the soundboard to stream audio inworld. We hooked up another laptop to a projector so the RL audience could see us in SL. Then we hooked up another laptop to a webcam so the folks in SL could see us in RL. I want to do something like that again, but I have no idea what I'm going to do about a projector and screen.

I'm thinking the soonest I could possibly do this would be in the fall. Hopefully you guys out there might know places to play. Please contact me at TakamuraKeiko (at) gmail if you are interested. Hmmm!!!! Well, I'll tell ya, if I am involved in this tour, I'll have a van for us all to use, all we need to do is split the gas.

Also, I could get you any music venue ya choose in Baltimore. Also a place to stay in Baltimore

So.... I'd like to offer myself as a maybe on board if you'll have me.

.......my thoughts on what I'd do if I did tour with you.... I would be the DJ before the start of the live acts, and then dj during and set changes or downtime.

..... if I am not on the tour, I can still get you the proper venue in Baltimore, and probably a free hotel room in Baltimore.

DUDE, that sounds like the shit. Let's keep an eye out for anyone else in the area (NY/New England) who wants to hop aboard with hopefully another laptop. And a projector. And a screen and venue contacts and...

Thinkin more about what I can do... and the upcoming..... looks like I probably can't join any northeast tour at this point... but I can totally set you up for Baltimore. I'll email ya a list of the most appropriate venues, and just pick one out :O)

As for anything florida, since im now in florida.. I'm down for anything.

There's lots of nifty things I can do now with a cell phone and streaming now :O) .....so no more need to see if the venue has broadband.... now they just gotta have full bars for cell phones hahah
