Thank u all sooooo much for your support for Kats Konnection. The next one will take place on Monday 10/13/08 from 5 - 7 pm slt.
The first 2 have been well attended by musician and venue owner alike. However, we discovered that the 2 hour format just isn't working as well as we expected. It appears from the attendance pattern to date, the 1st hour drew a healthy audience, then numbers dwindled dramatically during the 2nd hour. So Rusty and I thunk.... and thunk... and hashed... and cogitated ..  i wasn't sposed to admit that in public!! LOL
ANYWAY.....
Rusty and I are happy to announce that we have decided to do Kats Konnection WEEKLY alternating Sundays from 12-1 pm and Mondays from 5-6 pm. The 10/13 Kats Konnection will remain a 2 hour event. The next Kats Konnection will be on Sunday, 10/19 from 12-1 pm, then Monday 10/27 from 5-6 and so on.
We are hopeful that this change will benefit everyone.... the musicians will get to be heard and the booking agent will not have to be away from his/her venue for so long. Anyone interested in more info, signing up to play or a venue owner wishing to attend - please IM Kat Vargas or Rusty Seisenbacher.

The next Konnection will be Sunday Nov 16 at 12, followed by Monday Nov 24 at 5. The response so far has been great-lotta fun, lotta great musicians showing their stuff but we need you reps!! We hope to see you!! |
