Zaphod sighs and wishes he could fit another group in anywhere... ...and colectively apologises to all the friends who'se groups he's dumped recently to fit yet another venue in...
...oooh suddenly an idea trickles across my brow - is there no way that venues can assign their stage platform to a group like SLCC... ...so that we can belong to ONE group and be able to rez our wares at like MANY venues...
...somebody's gonna slap me for poting that in here and not as a fresh topic, but I have to carry on pretending to be busy, maybe I'll copy it out later

*sigh*
Is there no way venue owners can't read Slim's post from the other day with suggestions for how they can just leave build on, clean up their parcels after a show (with a very simple command via About/Land) and deal with griefers as they appear (with yet another very simple series of commands) OR follow Slimmie's advice and turn build on long enough for the musician to put their tip jar down, then turn it off again for the duration of the concert? Which also talked about how this kinda stuff is the venue owner's responsibility and should not be inconveniencing artists or audience?
This REALLY is a hardship on musicians who need to be in their own fan groups as well as music groups like LME, IMG, and yes, SLMC in order to be up to date on their profession and on top of which, might wanna follow one or two other musicians and maybe have an interest or two outside of music all together (no, I mean like a building, scripting or art group, not that Gorean Club over on the next sim ). Gorean clubs asides, musicians are stuck with the same 25 group limit as the rest of us. And I've heard plenty of venue owners whine about how THEY don't have enough group slots to do the things they want to do while at the same time, making this demand on artists.
Oh, right....not the rant room. Sorry. /me rant off. _________________ Joy is in the ears that hear

I used Slimmie's suggestion the other day and it worked great. My stage is actually on a much smaller parcel (on a separate sim) than the larger parcel that contains the park and half of the seating area so it was pretty simple to set up for the performance. _________________ Just call me Jo
