My article in Electronic Musician this month not only offers specific info in this regard but also specifically mentions slmc.myfastforum.org as the place to go for answers.

Zak, you can set up a SLexchange account for free, all you need to have is land to put their inventory box on. You can sell Items for $0, so make a notecard with links to the SLMC & you tutorials.
SLexchange works on a 10% commission so you shouldn't get charged, for a $0 item

Well, thanks for the kudos, Nad! 
As I've mentioned in other threads, I'm trying to do similar articles that are less tech-oriented and more about the SL music scene in general in more consumer-oriented publications. It's not easy selling editors on the concept, so wish me luck with that.

Well, heh, keep in mind - sex sells. Typos in proposals such as "Sexond Life" could firm things up for you.
