So far, all the inworld gigs I've done have had venue-supplied streams. Now I have a gig coming up, and I just learned that the venue has no stream. Yeah, I shoulda done more due diligence. Live and learn.

AAR, after this gig, I don't anticipate needing my own stream for..., oh... maybe another eight months. Accordingly, I'm looking for a short-term rental specialist. Does such exist? If so, are any of them any good? Recommendations?

TIA

I'll lend my mine Krell.  Send me an IM inworld and I'll give you the details for it.  I don't think i play today or tomorrow.

Clarissa Pastorelli also rents monthly streams for 800L to 900L/month (i'd have to double check).  I've been using them for months now without any issues.

Thanks to Norris for his generous loan of a stream. (Thanx, Norris!)

In the meantime, I found that Jamie Otis offers a daily rental. There's a vendor for it with instant access at his main location. I see some here are quite pleased with his service as well. I'll file that tidbit in the back of my mind for the next time.

Streams are so cheap nowadays. And lemme tell ya, me and Madame played at the Arbor Project Party today where they were suffering from severe Bad Streamness when we got in, so the host asked if we had our own stream.

We had a sweet show.

The FCMC keeps a stream specifically for artists in a pinch.  Also, we lease streams daily, weekly or monthly.  These are Stream Team 1000 listener, 128kbps streams.  Very reliable and robust.  If you need a stream for an hour, or want to lease one proper, IM Kaela Kilara or myself in world.
Peace
