Yes, I'm totally breaking my own 1-gig/week rule, but some of these are special occasions. I'll post them all in one thread so it doesn't look like I'm spamming the hell out of our announcement board. 
1. Saturday 7/5, 3:00, Stonehenge
Doing my set of softer stuff, along with the mighty Spinal Tap theme tune for this great venue.

2. Sunday 7/6, 3:00, Inspiration Cove
My darling Kat and her partner AnnGee are hosting a series of events for their island. I know over this and next weekend, they've booked some DJs as well as me, Elvis Duffy, Max Kleene and others. So I'm happy to play for my lady, as always.

3. Sunday 7/6, 7:00: Triana's Music Trivia
Triana hosts SL's longest-running trivia event every Sunday evening, and it's her fourth rezday. Kaklick Martin and I have both played live events there (we are regular attendees of the regular trivia night, which is usually not a live show), and it's great. Anyway, fourth rezday is special, so I'm looking forward to playing there for her.

4. Monday 7/7, 5:00: Crystal Sands
My usual Monday show at Sandi Benelli's place, with Elvis Duffy playing in the 4:00 slot before me.
Whew! It was tiring just writing all that, much less playing the shows.

Triana is one of the coolest people I know in all of SL, and Kat and I have spent nearly every single Sunday night over the past year and a half with her and her gang of silly friends. Always very fun. Each trivia night is a different theme... from "1967" to "Hall & Oates" to "Disco" and beyond. Plus, she uses a buzzer that randomly selects anyone who buzzes in, so it's not just a speed typing contest. It's really, really fun.
I'm editing the list above to include some event listings and SLURLS in case that makes it easier to, like, go there.

It would be fantastic if you all stopped by Inspiration Cove to hear the music and see the art (we have an art fair going on all week, including Zak's own compelling digital pieces). It would also be awesome to see some of you folks at trivia.  |

Stonehenge in a half hour, at 3:00, and Lyn Carlberg follows me at 4:00. Come for the cheese, stay for the wine.
- Yes, I'll play Spinal Tap's "Stonehenge". It's the only place I can do that song!
- Yes, I'll play my recently-recorded original "You're Like a Cloud" and other ZakTunes™.
- Yes, some Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Police, Zeppelin, and Elvis Costello.
- Yes, since I'm the first person on the bill at Stonehenge on every third Saturday, it gets a little lonely at the start of the show until people filter in, so come over if you can and keep me company.

I was just chit chatting with Kat over at Inspiration Cove. Way cool place. I can't believe you builder types actually make all that stuff. And who know Zak is multi talented? He's an artist too just like John Lennon and Ron Wood.

In an ironic twist of fate, Elvis, I am highly-trained as a musician (for which I receive nearly no income) and am a self-taught hack of a graphic artist, which is a huge part of my actual job.

I was thinking about hijacking Zak's thread to list who's playing at Inspiration Cove, 'cause I know he'd forgive me and stuff, but I think it might be better to just start one of my own. I am really excited about have you guys play there.
Getting back to topic, I hope Zak is still able to play his remaining gigs after writing all that. |

ooooooh I figured it out now.... those sunglasses are a way to hide the fact that his Zakness was so tired he was actually asleep?

Ooooooh! Great piccie! I have now stolen it for my blog.
Continuing my weekend tour, today I'm at Kat's "Inspiration Island" grand opening at 3:00. I was there yesterday evening for their DJ event, which was cool. She's got her stage set up in a neat little lagoon area. Me likee.
And yes, tonight at 7:00 is the rare live show at Triana's Music Trivia for her 4th rezday. I was looking back over my records, and this is only the fifth time in a year and a half I've done a two-a-day in my entire career as a fake rock star. So... yeah.
