*Effie waves hello*I joined at the beginning of the month, but never formally introduced myself. Some of you I am good friends with and some of you I consider you a friend even tho our paths may not cross that often in SL.
For those of you who don't know me, I am Effie Emmons. I own a store in world called Effie's Designs. My store is housed in a large castle. The grand hall is also a music venue.
I'm not just the owner of another store that uses live music to bring in sales. In fact, if that was my goal, I'd be sorely disappointed. I rarely sell anything during shows.
I'm a venue owner that just loves to support live music and have great parties while doing so. I usually have one event a month with 3 artists.
I not only love SL music, but I love many of the people in music. I love working with genuinely nice people. And, I've had the fortunate experience in bringing one of them to my RL. So, SL music has added a wonderful melody to both my worlds. 
Oh, and I guess I should mention, if you catch one of Kim Seifert's shows when I'm visiting in RL, you may even get to hear me sing a tune. Being on that end of the mic gives me great appreciation for what all our artists do.

I suppose from your comments you stop by Kim's place periodically. Well, I totally admire Kim. So, I'll have to catch a few more of her acts, hopefully catch you at one of them.
Your place in SL sounds great! I should stop by sometime ... I love castles
