*waving from the cheap seats*Heya, folks
Hmmm... introductory posts. Eeeek!!! Anyway, I'm Ajay McDowwll (like you couldn't tell that from the name to the left of the post). My connection to the SL music industry is mostly through grabbing onto the coattails of those who are much more talented than I and enjoying the hell out of the ride.
I work for MacKenzie Rasmuson and Case Munro of Friendly Fire as an officer, i.e. uber-groupie, which means I'm one of those folks spamming the daylights out of concert attendees with group invites and swag bags. Oh, and the notice spam... mustn't forget the notice spam! I also host for Case at his Monday Rock & Roll Listening Party at the Glamshack where thanks to my chim I'm dually functioning as a floor cleaner.
Additionally I'm the DJ manager for Dublin Services, which means Ham Rambler kindly lets me work for him and the DJs very nicely let me think I'm in charge of something. I've been known to spin a time or two myself out of sheer desperation, but I'm far from a professional in that area. And besides, I giggle on mic. Obsessively.
So, uhm... anyway, that's me I'll likely be mostly in lurk mode, but I just wanted to wave from my spot in the nosebleed section.
God, where are the tissues...

Howdy Ajay. I'm still looking for an explanation as two why two Florida rockers have 'skidoo' in one of their song titles?

Nice to see you.

Thanks for the welcome Ticious! And it's highly likely we've seen each other around... or that you've seen my hair, which usually arrives at least five minutes before the rest of me.
RayW, you're not the only one with foot-in-mouth disease. I'll put something to the screen and the next second wish with all my being that live chat had an "edit" function, LOL
Hey back, Zak! I've been reading some at work today (bad Ajay...) and noticed you're quite the fan of the rhyme
Drusilla, thanks! I'll be around, and it's likely I'll even post more than I implied since I can't keep my mouth shut for more than 30 seconds or so.
MAMBO!! *waves back* Oh, by the way... awesome outfit at the Solistice Fest on Sunday! Y'all were amazing -- Case had to up the sim limit for your show or folks wouldn't have been able to get in... hee!
Claudia, thanks for the welcome!
Norris, your question led me to researching the etymology of the phrase "23 Skidoo/ Skiddoo". I now know more about it than I thought possible. See, in 1906... uhm, erm... if you're really interested I'll put it in a notecard. I geek out with language sometimes
Fable, thanks for the welcome too!
Okay, wow... posted twice in 24 hours. Likely to get worse. Oh dear... hehe.
Laterz y'all... have to drop insane amounts of gestures on a new Friendly Fire officer and get ready for tonight's crowning of the new redshirts. Hmm... redshirts... you think Mack and Case did that on purpose? Nah...
*wanders off, pondering this*

Ah yes, both great products from the Canadian company Bombardier. I once wrote a love song to a Ski-doo.

Heya Kiaranne! And CASE!! Thanks for the kind words
Oh it's Friday, blessed Friday. Now if that twit from the other day calls back here at the office so I can give her a piece of my mind (not that I can spare it, mind you, but it's the principle of the thing)...
