Arch Ochl

Hey, thought I would say hello to anyone who wants a hello to be said too.  I have been in SL for about a month now and its is still very new to me, but I have seen some really cool things and I have meet some really great people.

I am looking to start performing in SL but need to figure out what I need to do that.  I think I have all the hardware so I just need to get the streaming service (winamp) and find a stream.  I have a lot of experience with ProTools so anyone that has experience with going from a digidesign interface>SL, I would love to hear from you.  I have already meet some club oweners so I dont think it will be a problem, but if you are looking for a guitarist/singer/songwriter/ambient dance music maker, drop me a line.

In real life I perform solo and in a band around San Diego and the SoCal area.  You can check out my sites below.

Heya.  Won't take you long to get it figured out.

that's for PC users.. which i'm guessing you are cause you mentioned Winamp.

If you need a stream to test, you can IM me inworld and I can let you try with mine.  However, most of the time inworld these days I tend to be onstage, so if i don't get back to you right away, that's probly why.  Smile

That shows you how little I know!  I actually use a mac, but had no idea that winamp was better (or only?) for pc.   Is there a preferred program for mac users that have a protools set up to stream into sl?

Arch, you want to look into Nicecast for your Mac. Smile
