A word to my fellow Second Lifers...

After many years of pursuing music part-time and gaining a dedicated audience, I have arrived at a viable business plan to move me into full-time music performance, production, and ancillary creative income streams. The demand is evident, since I currently have more offers than I can accept while still keeping my dayjob. Thus:

Per the link above, I need a mere $1,500 in seed money to cover startup costs. As of this writing, 20% of it has already been raised. If you are a fan of my work who would like to hear new and better material on a more regular basis, please consider helping launch the next phase of the matthew show. Even a few dollars would help. Everyone who donates will receive a special, signed EP featuring exclusive tracks, plus priority notification of any new material released in the future. You will have the option to receive a private streamed or in-house concert (depending on geography). You will be thanked publicly and/or privately (according to your preference). I do not forget a kindness, and if you show faith in me, I will be that much more driven to justify it.

I hope things work out for you, Matthew. I don't know if anyone here ahs got much money to spare. I know I don't. One possibility would be to announce your funding idea at gigs you do in SL. Also start a group for people who enjoy your music and pass a circular around your group membership asking for donations. You never know, it might work.
