Every established (1 yr or better) group that works to serve SL artists and performers ought be represented in a good light therein. Please submit your info. It's really not clear what you're seeking.  That reads like you want information from managers and possibly venue owners for something but it's not clear what.  Is the objective to publicize groups that do this so performers or whomever can find them? ticious I think Res's request is a little vague so as to be inclusive (don't mean to speak for you here, Res).  I read it to mean that musicians, venue owners, promoters, even fans (I assume) who've been around the music scene long enough to have an interesting story to tell or an informed view point to share are being invited to contribute content. I just might come up with something, but it won't be in time for a September publication, I'm afraid.  Though I'd love to have an article on the Spotlight music newbie center included, I have to first finish building said music newbie center   . Reslez Silas, that excerpt is only to say that these established and successful groups (SLMC is a group in SL for example) ought all be represented.  Be it an article, an information page, or what have you.  Its more about representation than accolade, the sharing of information.  This magazine should serve as a resource to artists, venues, music related groups, and listeners alike Ticious, yes, what you are saying is truth too, but not quite the idea I was expressing in that specific excerpt. Rest assured there is plenty of material.  The ever growing and changing music scene in SL will sustain the regular columns.  The features too, should easily provide a continuous stream of inspiring &/or entertaining developments to cover.  Granted, the more participant peoples and groups, the more vantage, and following, greater diversity.   That you are curious is very encouraging.  Exciting in fact.  Means that there is a growing interest already.  WooT!  We will do our utmost to ensure that upon perusal, you (and every reader) are so delighted and entertained by the content, that you anxiously anticipate the next issue. Silas Scarborough Sure, I'm curious  The biggest problem with magazines is that they suck.  Most of them are PDF which is arguably the most evil bitch software on the planet.  It's not so terrible on a Mac because you don't have to use Acrobat Reader to open them but forcing people to use that program just ain't good at all. What you might want to consider is using Word as it can do the two-column lay-up stuff, merge images, etc  After the document is ready, save it for the Web and it will generate the HTML.  It's the most egregiously bilious HTML you'll ever see but it will work and won't require a huge amount of re-training of whomever will be doing the edits. One advantage of PDF is that you can attach it to email and spam people with it.  But wouldn't it be better to spam people with a link rather than a multi-megabyte file? I'm not sure if SL's 'browser' can handle PDF data but, even if it does, it's likely to be a brutal experience perhaps akin to poking the data bits into your body with a tattoo needle. If it's ok to use SL's browser to read a Web site for the magazine then why isn't it ok to use the browser to read a PDF.  (I hate it when people ask questions and then answer them but this one is inevitable) The reason is that PDF doesn't offer a whole lot different from multiple lay-out products and the result isn't particularly intelligent.  It may be fairly pretty in a generic kind of way but there's little, if any, hyper-linking in them.  Images have little, if any, intelligence, etc.  A Web page is vastly more flexible and powerful and should present a much better user experience in terms of capability AND ease of use. Thank you all for your tremendous support with the premier issue.  We hope you find the publication interesting, entertaining and a light source of resource.
