Google Calendar Help DESPARATELY Needed!!!I set up a Google calendar for booking the reopening of Rocky Shores a couple weeks ago and announced it here in the forum:
http://slmc.myfastforum.org/about1461.html
The response was overwhelming . . . .June booked almost solid in the first day!!! I was SO excited!!!
But now, I can't get to the damn calendar . . . Google keeps telling me "Sorry, Calendar is unavailable right now". I've done everything what little help there is says to do and there's no email help contact. I have no idea who's booked for 6pm Wednesday, let alone all day on Saturday!!!!!
Can anyone help me figure out how to access my calendar? Have you ever heard of something like this before? I've been using Google calendars, LOADS of them, for over a year, I've never had a problem like this before!!!
/me rips at her hair in desperation!!!

Yes, I think I can remember not being able to get into my Google callendar on one or two occasions in the past. Then, as if by magic, I tried one last time - and there it was!
So I'm hoping that even as I type, it has magically sprung open before your eyes. Apart from this glass-half-full sentiment, there are no constructive suggestions I have to give you.
Good luck,
Fyrm

I've been trying for a couple days now, no go. The only folks with update access are me and my biz partners . . . and at least Sin can't access it either. When we click the link in my earlier post, we get the message I quoted above. And in our 'My Calendars' view, it's in the list on the left, but if we click it, it doesn't load (all our other calendars load fine). When we click on the link to manage it, the link is dead.
Woody and Nad, if you see this post . . will you please give it a try and email me your result?
Bitch is, even if I decide I have to cancel, I dunno who to contact . . and if I did, I wouldn't need to cancel!!!!
Oh well, I'm off to work now (of course, this is happening on my first day back at work after a 13 month hiatus!!!). I'll just have to see where I can get with it this evening (when I'm not all tense about first day back at work!!).
Meantime, if anyone else has any other ideas PLEASE throw them in!!!

I've been using Calendar Hub for my show schedule, and it seems to work. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Work - Hmmm... strange term, sounds vaguely familiar... I'm getting a rather grey association between it and Monday mornings... for some reason Fridays are glowing in a more positive aura as the cortex pulses away in a desperate attempt to dig it out of the lexicon... Nope, its gone. Nearly had a flash of recognition at one point. Sorry, haven't a clue what you are talking about

/me rolls her eyes.....
Damn, every time something goes wonky on my computer someone says clean your cookies. I roll my eye, clean my cookies and all is right with the world again. No, I haven't done it yet. Cross your fingers with me!!!!
eta: Mambo, have I ever told you that I love you !!!!
Yes, the cookies seem to have been the culprit!!! I am back in biz! Woooo Hooooo!!!!!!!
Btw, Zak, I switched to CalendarHub for a while. It simply isn't as flexible as Google and I actually have about a dozen Google Calendars, all of which I'm able to view simultaneously, all nicely color coded, I can hide them, I can view them, I can share them, I can get an email agenda every day off the ones I want an agenda off of, I can do all sorts of stuff with them that you just can't do in CalendarHub. My feeling on it was that if all you need is a single simple calendar that others can view (but not update), then CalendarHub is up to the task, but it was REALLY awkward for me because I just couldn't get all the views I needed

Tish, the last thing you have to worry about is whether you're lady-like.
Please don't read this as Mac sales; I just thought it might be interesting. In Monday's WWDC keynote, Jobs said that .Mac would be extended to support an online calendar. That syncs with iCal and could be pretty smooth. Mac monkeys can find out more at the Apple site.

Do you know if it will work on pc as well? We've been having some glitchy issues with Google. Every now and then, and often enough to cause us REAL headaches, it randomly moves an entry. There's one for Al at Cascadia Harmonics . . on the CH calendar it behaves and stays right where it belongs, but on Al's calendar, it keeps moving from 1pm to 2pm and I keep having to move it back since Al looks to his calendar, not the CH calendar, to know where he's scheduled to play. We had a similar snafu with an entry Woody made to Nad's calendar where it shifted the entry from 3pm Wednesday to 3pm Tuesday. We haven't been able to find a pattern to the entries that get shifted or how they get shifted, and even if we could, I haven't been able to find a place to send bug reports.
I tried CalendarHub, but it just totally does NOT give us the flexibility we need (specifically, multiple calendars in a single view and easy calendar sharing).

Sounds to me like you've got a chronogeist (metaversial mutant of the common poltergiest, functioning mainly as a timezone vandal within SL). Wearing some prim garlic should help.
