Hello SLMCI am very new on the SL live scene and am paying my dues on the open mic circuit. I am performing on SL because of personal issues that have hindered my RL enjoyment of live performance. I didn't come to SL for this, but I am so pleased that it was so accessible (for a non-technical person) to do so. I hope that this forum will be a valuable source for getting to know more about SL live performance and meet other like minded musicians.

This is my SL biog at the momentBenisimo Luik hails from the UK... a self-taught acoustic singer songwriter new to the SL music scene. From his flat in Birmingham, Ben hopes to reach out to music lovers across SL and the world. His musical influences include Dylan, Joplin, Morrison, and Hendrix.... as well as performing covers of contemporary Indie bands, The Flaming Lips, The Beta Band, The Barenaked Ladies and many others.

I just remembered...I was looking for a forum like this, because I'm finding it hard to find venues that run at GMT and would like to play more during the daytime. If anyone can point me in the right directions I would be grateful

Hi Ben!! Good to see you here!
There are a few venues around run by Europeans or by Americans with an eye to the European crowd. Your best bet for finding them may be to sign in during the time of day you want to play, look at the live music listings and show hop. Do that for a week or so and chances are, you'll meet just about all of them
