Hello!Hey everyone. I'm a RL artist/musician and I am very interested in performing in SL.
I definitely am glad I found this place as I need a lot of help. I'm tech savvy but need hands on help to get things in me brain lol.
The stuff I wanna perform is not standard SL fair though so I fear I won't have much luck with it.
If anyone wants to shoot me an IM in world feel free!

Welcome to the forums. Have a go at using the FAQs and other information that is already posted here to get you started and if you are stuck then just holler and someone here will answer....
Once you are able to stream you will have no problem getting gigs. There will also be people here willing to give you a try on an open mic basis as a start and after that you'll be playing full gigs before you know it.
Have no concerns regarding your genre...there are venues and audiences in SL for every conceivable musical niche.

Hi Karlov and Welcome.
I wouldn't worry too much about 'standard SL fair'. If you want to do it.. do it. You'll probably be able to find places that would let you do your thing.
