Tattoo Lane

HELP need DJ's and live artists soon PLEASE!!!!!

Hiya - I'm Tattoo Lane from Sexy Slutz shop in SL. I make clothes - but I wanted a new project - so I am opening a Hotel and Club as from 20th March ( Club opening) - the hotel will be a tad longer as I need to get some security installed and pay as you go locks for the doors with eject buttons to get rid of the amorous clients who will be using it!

The Club and Hotel are called Xanadue - and I want there to be good classy music - not just a stream - I can't afford to pay anyone - so its tips I'm afraid - and it will be slow at first ... but I hope to be able to enlarge the Club eventually , its only tiny and intimate at the moment
- I have some spare land I can use to do this. At the moment I am rushed off my feet trying to get it all together with dancers, hosts, DJ's and live musicians - I want this to be a class act - not just a cheap tacky place. I want a mix of rock, blues, ballards, country, folksy, etc - covers are great too - and even better if its your own material.

I would love you to come over if you are interested - have a look round. You'll have to join the group to enter - but once in take your time and enjoy looking round. If you know any dancers who need work - I can give them work too.

If I'm not online - you can leave me a message on SL or a notecard letting me know a bit about your music etc - and the times you're available to play - oh - and bring your own tip jars please!!!!!!!

Love and hugs,
Tattoo

I suggest hosting an open mic weekly to help get you started finding performers.  Make sure to list it in events as "Open Mic - Xanadue", so it's easy to find with an event search for "open mic".  List it at least a few days ahead of time, and put the times available in the event posting.

I'd also suggest thinking about removing any poles or at least giving the dancers the night off so to speak, during the open mic.  Before booking someone, give them the option to have the stage to themselves.  That might help you get people to play.  Some performers don't mind playing pixel-clubs, some do.

Feel free to shoot me an IM sometime, I know a musician/DJ that might be interested.
