Kats Konnection to be Re-StartedHello everyone... long time no post  But I am back to announce that, with a lot of help from my partner Rusty Seisenbacher, it has been decided to fire up the stage again for Kat's Konnection!!!!
For those that are not familiar with this concept - Kat's Konnection is my feeble attempt to connect musicians looking for gigs with venue owners/club managers looking to book live musicians.
We all know that time is precious so... I provide the place for musicians to come, sing 3-4 tunes (15 min worth) and strut their stuff. Venue owners, its a great way to hear some of the amazing talent that is lurking around the streams of SL in a short period of time. I encourage u all to hang around, talk to each other and make your own arrangements.  Oh and BTW... don't forget to have FUN!!!
Just a few rules - some old, some new:
1. NO groupies or fans allowed - this is strictly an audition atmosphere
2. You MUST join the group - Rusty will not be sending individual
reminders and access will be limited to those in the group.
3. There is no fee associated with this - no-one at Kats Konnection
will ask for lindens or expect them. I will put out a tip jar to cover
stream expense but that is completely voluntary.
This will be as good as you all make it... JoyKat Productions will work to spread the word and i ask that you help us get the word out. This isn't just for newby musicians.... believe it or not there are avitars in SL that have NEVER heard of Maximillion Kleene or Dexter Ihnen *GASP*

Woo Hoo!!! I'm so glad you're gonna fire up the Konnection again!! This was one of the best and most selfless services ever offered to SL musicians and club owners!!!

That's cool Kat, it is a unique and needed service. ... even if it's every second week or something.
Musicians have groupies in SL? Why wasn't i informed of this?

With real life work schedules, it's real hard for an American to do this kind of thing during Euro hours but it would be great if a European could host a similar sort of thing in Euro friendly hours.

Thanks for the input Blindboy... it is our intention to perhaps do a second Kats Konnection on a weekend during the early hours so that the european musicians do not have to perform at 2 am. Once we get up and going, see what kind of response we get etc.. we will likely be adding that on.
We are already looking at 100 members in the group and only have 3 slots left open for the 9/15 opening of Kats Konnection.. sooo please IM Rusty Seisenbacher and get your place reserved!! WOOO HOOOO its gonna be fun!!

Just a little update . Thanks to amazing supportand interest, we have already planned a Sunday afternoon konnection for our friends across the pond for September 28 and have the next one after that already on the books. I can't thank everyone enough for helping this move along
