Tranquil Artist in Residence program

An artist in residence program will be offered to new SL musicians. Please IM Brianna Beresford if you wish to apply or have more questions about the program.

Artist requirements:

Selected artist will be required to perform at the Tranquil Cafe at least 3 hours a week with at least one of those hours being at 5pmslt.
Artist tenure will be determined based on individual progress. The agreement may be terminated at any time, by either party, for any reason (after all this is SL).

Artist benefits:

A furnished apartment, over the Tranquil Cafe for the duration of the appointment (may be shared if more than one artist in residence). Tranquil 234,146,22

An avatar makeover if desired.

24/7 access to the music stream to practice and perfect performance.

Ability to form your own group and establish a retinue of followers.

Sorry didn't reply sooner, I am new at forum participation. The artist/musician in residence program is designed to assist new performers in SL with their appearance, promotional materials development, and limited technical advice. There is no salary associated with the residency. A stream is provided in the Tranquil Cafe, which has been open for three months, for the musicians in the program to practice their art and form a SL identity. I do not claim to be an expert in SL music arena but am becoming an expert on accessing resources. Please spread the word.

I recently finished my tenure as artist in residence. Ya don't get paid, but it's a regular schedule you can set yourself. Also, since you've got access to the stream you could play as much as you like. I learned how to enter my own event listings. Brianna is a cool girl and and Tranquil is a cool place.
