Nicecast Effects - advice on how to pep up my voice

Hi Nicecast users,

So there is no advice at all anywhere on the different effects in nicecast and what they do...ok so some are obvious and some you can google and research etc...but anyway:

Can anyone recommend any nicecast effects that will improve my voice?

You know add 'warmth' - i've heard some terms used in SLMC but can't remember them Smile

I currently use a little reverb....so any other suggestions would be great.

Although again...I am starting to wonder if by having more effects it affects your stream etc...

Thanks, Vlad  Very Happy

ok this topic is old so it might not help the original poster, but I thought I'd respond here.  I've been fiddling with my sound in SL for over two years now and I'm a lot more happy with how it sounds now vs when I started.

IMO, the best way to improve the sound of your voice is not necessarily with software.  If you use Garageband, you can add effects like EQ and compression which if done tastefully can improve your sound, but the best thing you can really do is to improve the signal chain coming in (microphones and pre-amps), and to reduce the amount of ambient noise (fan noise etc) in your room.
