Nicecast Silent Broadcast?!?!

Hey guys! Forgive me if this has already been answered. I just got my Nicecast Broadcaster the other night. I'm having issue when I press broadcast, my itunes goes silent even though its still playing and the levels on the broadcaster dont move at all. As soon as press STOP broadcasting the audio comes back in. Both volumes are up on the the broadcaster and the itunes...I've tried fiddling with them...i even deleted nicecast and re-downloaded it...I'm so confused! Please help!!

Have you selected in the drop down tab (on the window with the start/stop button) iTunes as the application to broadcast?
