Well, if our kid had taken that Tampa job, grandma would have gladly taken a trip down to see the grandkids.
But, for me to go see my SL buddies?? Don't think that's gonna fly in this house, sorry.

If I can swing it I'm going. Chicago was a total blast and it was great to meet the people I've been hanging with in world. It's a long way from Winnipeg Canada to Tampa but a plane flight makes it easy to travel. Not like the 15hr drive to Chicago last summer.

Maybe a US SL musician gathering is in order outside of this thing. Nashville is nice and central.

I was thinking Louisville, as a lot of the musicians are also in IN, OH, etc. and Louisville sort of a more central location.

SLCC WELCOME NIGHT PARTYGuys,I am planning a Welcome party on Friday evening of SLCC , sponsored by the Dublin team. I am looking at having it at an Irish bar , within walking distance of the hotel. The Venue does Live Music on Friday anyway, so I thought it might be good to :- 1) Have some SL artists on the bill and 2) Simulcast it into the Blarney Stone. If any of you are going to be there and fancy doing a few numbers, can you let me know , so I can talk to the owner. Ham |

I am working on the invitation for the Dublin Welcome Party which will be streamed live from the Four Green Fields Pub, a few blocks from the convention.
If you are going to go to the SLCC, would you please IM me and I will give you Ham's email address and/or you can IM him in-world? We would love to stream you live into the Blarney Stone from the pub or say hi to everyone on mic
