Not that it is a big deal...but....anyone seen guitars that have a strap on them? I did enquire about a 'custom' guitar, but I did not want to waste the creators time with my strap questions when I found out it was going to cost me about $60 USD to get a custom cartoon guitar.
I just think it looks kinda funny with guitars hanging off an avi and no strap - so I bought a seat lol
so....straps? guitar straps anyone? _________________ TC |

Screw the strap; I want a guitar that shoots laser beams. I've asked Ortho many times but does he do it....noooooooo.
There are three people most likely to be able to add a strap to a guitar: Ortho Vargas, Myriam Beck, and PaulHufschmid ??? (I can never remember his last name as his RL last name is part of his first name). They're all quite good builders, all have their own suite of bizarro idiosyncrasies regarding how and what they will build, but all are good eggs.
Nomasha has a gorgeous Les Paul but it doesn't have much in the way of animation and, until 2-3 months ago, it was the only 6-string electric in his inventory. Of the four, he's far and away the best builder. _________________ Ever vigilant for da gooses overhead.

Yet another reason why I sit on a stool in SL when I play (in addition to the not being able to be pushed part).
Of course, sitting makes it look like the guitar is sliced into my leg, too. Oh well, SL is at a point in its lifespan where something like CompuServe was in 1990, before the Internet access exploded. When I see these little things that bug me, I look back at everything that bugged me about being a Sysop on Compu$erve and think about all the nice things that have come since those days, and try to imagine where SL is going to be 18 years from now.
By the way, we have an amazing builder doing stuff for us on Gibson Island, and she's not charging people anywhere close to that for a custom guitar. Let me know if you want to meet her. |

It's funny - I've spent days looking for guitar straps and finally decided to build my own, then got distracted. It's tricky b/c it really needs to be attached to the guitar, which moves around a lot and the strap ends up looking like this blade going through your neck all the time. _________________

Tommy, just pretend your guitar is connected directly to your belt buckle, ZZ Top-stylee. _________________

ty lol....I the furry option is almost appealing .....and...i guess I can always call it ...sans-strap....so it seems like it is an option I choose. Anyway - as Von says...it is only a lil thing that bugs me - and there are many other more bug worthy things to worry about lol - and all those issues like...slicing necks are sure to be true. As for fish and chips....we have those every friday - with salt and vinegar _________________ TC |

But the question remains, are the chips wrapped or open when you buy them? |
