What a wangled teb we weave ... Fabs, it sounds like for recording (outside of a live stream scenario), you need to mute your line-in on the soundcard (or just unplug it) if the recording software is already detecting your sound through the USB.
Stick with Simplecast if you like it - I played around with Shoutcast and didn't find any additional functionality, unless I missed something. _________________

Hmmmm feedback on that Takamine? I have two of them and haven't noticed anything. I have the onboard volume and eqs fairly high too.
I am sure you have already done this, but check your windows sound control panel. At least for me, I have the Toneport selected in all the dropdowns EXCEPT one (whatever I said in my post. Don't have it in front of me! Either the first or second box there). You might be getting what I was getting which was a signal from the soundcard feeding back on itself. For me it only happned with SL open. |
