Norris, your question led me to researching the etymology of the phrase "23 Skidoo/ Skiddoo".  I now know more about it than I thought possible.  See, in 1906... uhm, erm... if you're really interested I'll put it in a notecard.  I geek out with language sometimes Fable, thanks for the welcome too!
