I don't see the link and notecard posted here, so I will do that...
Also please please share this gift, pass the link around, if you need a poster or a notecard, let me know! Blog it, put it on Facebook, MySpace, anywhere and everywhere!
What an awesome gift to all of us, of time, effort and sharing!!!
----------------------------------------------------------
Merry Christmas!
You have received this notecard as a Christmas gift from an SL musician or live music lover either because they know you already love the live music scene in SL or they want you to catch the live music bug and enjoy the many shows that are performed in SL every day.
Below is a URL where you can download a free MP3. The MP3 is a collaborative recording featuring 22 SL musicians all performing an original song entitled "Christmas All Year Through", having recorded their contributions remotely from all over the world. The song was written by Djai Skjellerup and the final mix was painstaking put together by Toby Lancaster. The rest of the collaborators to whom we are hugely grateful for their excellent contributions are listed beneath the song name.

While you are downloading and listening please do two things which are the whole reason behind these projects. Firstly, read the information in this embedded notecard regarding learning how to access and enjoy live music in SL: and also to visit this information website on all the Get It Together projects and find out who is behind them and why they were instigated: http://slgetittogether.weebly.com/index.html .
Secondly, and most importantly, please distribute this notecard on to everybody on your friends list and to every group you are a member of (after getting permission from the groups owner first). We are hoping that by taking this viral approach to spreading the word about SL live music we can continue to grow what is already a vibrant and diverse scene. Please keep coming back to:
http://slgetittogether.weebly.com/index.html
as well. It is only in it's embryonic stage at the moment but will soon be updated with biographies of all the collaborators and other information.
Thanks for your time. We'd also like to send our best wishes to those who do not observe Christmas. We hope you enjoy our efforts all the same and have a happy time over the holiday period. My thanks to all the Get It Together collaborators for your efforts with a special mention to Toby Lancater, Bree Birke and Cher Harrington for your invaluable contributions.
Best Wishes

I am practising what I preach and distributing like crazy.
Thanks Cher for posting the notecard and links here and for offering the notecard and a giver poster to everyone who wants it in world. I am thinking of all the venues that can have the poster up over the festive period so I will send out a giver poster to those people who I know have a venue. If you dont have one and you want one then please contact Cher or myself! _________________ http://www.djaiskjellerup.com

OK...I think I've left enough time pass for those of you that wanted to play "Spot The SL Musician".
And so with apologies for those bits I couldn't cram in, here's the cheat sheet.
Firstly, who played the instruments:
Piano: Djai
Bass: Krell (during intro), Rich, Mambo
Drums: Vicki
Acoustic Guitar Lead: Lonnie
Acoustic Guitar Rhythm: Lonnie/Lyn
Electric Ping, Chug and Solo guitar: Krell
Electric Guitar Rhythm: OhMy/BabbleGrabble
Trumpets: BabbleGrabble
Shakers: Saraine
Sleighbells: Vicki
Bellstrings: Rich
Tubular Bells: Rich
Backwards Piano Note: Toby
Scratchy LoFi Piano: Toby
Next, the vocals:
Harmony Vocals: Slim
Backing Vocals: Zak
You brought the break of day (Franz)
into my dark night (Carah)
It’s not like it’s alright. (Djai)
It’s enough to be going on with. (BabbleGrabble)
You brought the thunder clap that woke me from my sleep (Jean)
It’s not like it’s complete. (Lonnie)
It’s enough to get us by. (Kaklick)
And this Christmas I will try (Kiarranne)
to make it up to you (Mimi)
Though I am sure to mess it up (OhMy)
it’s the best that I can do (Lyn)
So this Christmas let us try (Zak)
to step out of ourselves (Tpenta)
And hope it comes to pass (Slim)
that maybe it can last (Tommy)
Like Christmas All Year Through (Djai, Kaklick)
You brought the lightening strike that chased me from myself (Jean)
It’s not like the hand’s dealt (BabbleGrabble)
but it’s too close to call (Djai, Franz)
You brought the hurricane (Kiarranne)
that smashed through all I do (Lonnie)
But it’s not like we have to (Lyn, Zak)
live our lives this way (Carah, Kaklick, Zak)
And this Christmas I will try (Zak, OhMy, Mimi)
to make it up to you (OhMy, Tpenta)
Though I am sure to mess it up (Tpenta, Slim, Zak)
it’s the best that I can do (Tommy, Tpenta, Zak)
So this Christmas let us try to step out of ourselves (BabbleGrabble, Carah, Franz)
And hope it comes to pass (hope it comes to pass - Professor) that maybe it can last (All)
Like Christmas All Year Through (All)
And this Christmas I will try (Carah)
to make it up to you (Carah, Jean)
Though I am sure to mess it up (Jean)
it’s the best that I can do (Jean)
So this Christmas let us try to step out of ourselves (Carah)
And hope it comes to pass that maybe it can last (All)
Like Christmas All Year Through (All)
Thanks again to everyone who contributed , and in particular to Djai, who wrote a classic song, and was the driving force. Hopefully you can all hear yourselves in there somewhere.
We've had over 200 downloads now, but please keep spreading the word in the name of Live Music in SL.
