I was HUGELY remiss yesterday when I forgot to thank the Major sponsor of the event. So, HUGE, HUGE thanks to the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities and the Office of the Chancellor for making this even possible. And, we had dozens of staff and faculty manning the booth, fielding questions and giving demos (as well as trying to keep the kids off the machines ... who seemed more eager to jump in than their parents).
I know we gained a few converts to SL and SL music. Hopefully some towards the uses of SL with Education, too _________________ Ray

I attended many of these gigs, at least once a day
what an AMAZING event this was, so professionally run, with a great interface from what we could here from SL to RL ... congratulations to everyone. I know this was SO MUCH work! Ray you and your staffers did a GREAT JOB _________________ Bourque Rau |

I was lucky enough to play a couple of shows, and managed to catch another 3 or 4 shows during the week.
Well done Ray. I really beleive that shows like this do a lot to further the 'SL music scene' (whatever that is).
It was the first time that I had ever played a show from my basement that a collection of peeps in RL could see/hear. Gave it kind of a different feeling/vibe, but was lots of fun. _________________ http://www.NorrisShepherd.com |

Thank you Ray, it was a lot of fun! I couldn't get the Fairians waving corndawgs and cotton candy, but Leda kept things moving - she's great _________________ This text appears at the bottom of my posts. |

Thanks guys.
But, before I take anymore thanks, it was really and truly Noria and Leda who made it all happen. Yah, I built the stage and knew a few performers and managers. And I helped with the training and setup.
But, you would not believe the agony Noria went through that first month getting this thing put together!
Not sure anyone of those involved are on this forum. But, just wanted to make sure they got the large share of the credit, too. _________________ Ray
