I write mostly instrumentals ( well i try too :lol )
i am doing this for 2 reasons.

1) happen to like instrumentals Wink
2) i can't sing Laughing

Offcourse i have loads of unfinished songs/ideas that requires vocals,
most time i put it aside or change it into an instrumental.

But i would like to see some off it actually get finished.

I am offering you :

* a 50% cut if any money is made ( witch i doubt Cool )
* you can use it for your own gigs-websites-etc.etc.etc.-you can even use it in RL gigs-etc-etc
* you have freedom to change/rewrite the lyrics/vocal line.
* and offcourse i am a person that has this motto, if you scratch my record, i scratch yours Wink

- Do you have any tunes posted online for people to listen to, to see if it suits their voice?

- Do you have lyrics for all songs?

I'm a singer, but I don't like to give a firm "yes" to committing to collabs because sometimes I am horrible at completing things. If something is available on the web, I can say "I'll check that out and think about it and if something comes to me, I'll record something" instead of "send me your song and I will put vocals on it". I have not even done any of my OWN recordings in far too long. Sad But yeah... if you end up putting something online, please post here.

I might be able to help you out, but like the poster before me, I have to hear it first to see if it's something I can do well. Different voices are suited for different styles. Smile

I don't have a TON of vocal stuff up but here are a few:

http://www.splicemusic.com/songs/...nine-years-old-now-backup-vocals/
(this one just got played on NPR! Kevin (the guy singing) wrote this one and put it on Splice and I just got the itch to put in some backup vocals, and this is what we ended up with.)

http://www.splicemusic.com/songs/...pliceaby-the-mockingbird-remix-5/
(this one is just an idea I had kicking around for a long time that really isn't finished yet. there are some good remixes of it, though, haha.)

I have some others in there but we're rendering their mp3s still today (we just relaunched the site and so there are some processes still finishing.)

If any of that sounds like anything you might be interested in, let me know. Smile

*blushes*

when i listen, i just think "argh. it's flat." but it was never really intended for a final draft.... a lot of my stuff there is just musical scribbling. Smile

thank you. Smile you're welcome to do whatever you like to it. it's got a CC license that allows for remixing and derivatives. let me know if you add to it! i want to hear it!

oh... very pretty! (it cuts off at the end, in case you didn't realize.)

i literally am covered in cobwebs from digging my mic stand out of the garage. i picked up a nicecast license earlier today and maybe, with any luck, i might get un-shy enough to take a crack at SL shows. Smile either way, i will listen to this some more and see if anything comes to mind.

nice work!

Thanks.

this is just a rough take....
just was fooling around a bit, did some takes.
so yes, it may sound a bit "un produced" Smile
