Jeans For Genes is coming to SL Friday 2nd October.

We’re looking to assemble a stellar lineup of SL musicians and DJs to perform at the Jeans For Genes Official event leading up to the headliners. This is really really important to us which is why we’re asking you if you’d be able to volunteer your time to play at the gig.

We've had a bit of a coup by getting the One Little Indian records band The Mighty Roars (www.themightyroars.com) to headline the music event during their promotional leadup to the release of their second album, and I'd like a really good line up of SL musicians to support them so it should be a thrilling evening.
There’s no payment as explained above, and as we’re trying to raise money for a cause, we’d honestly prefer it if you didn’t put out tip jars which might divert donators’ attention - though of course we won’t stop you if you choose to do so.

There is a stream provided and we just want you to turn up and do what you do best. Do your thing!!

Other volunteers
We’re going to need volunteers to help in the lead up to the event and on the day. This might be to script and build, distribute fundraising packs, help spread the word inworld and online, help organise and marshal on the day or to take snapshots and document the event.

We need your energy and creativity to make this happen!

The Guild
For the record, this fundraiser is being run on an entirely uncharged, voluntary basis by Kei Mars’ company The Guild, who are Jeans for Genes UK’s web agency. The Guild are making no money from this so we ask that other volunteers abide by that ethos too.
