Chicago? ooooooo .. that's only 8 hrs. And the wife would love to go back (she's been there twice). But, you guys don't want an old folkie who can hardly play and goes into feedback in front of stage monitors and sweats in fronts of real peoples. (man .. bring on the towels!) _________________ Ray

RayW, don't count yourself out of anything. I'm planning on rolling the bus to anyplace a few jammers can get together and play. I'm not looking for mega-gigs for the ones I'll set up myself. Smaller gigs mean more of them. _________________ Silas Scarborough

Ray, if you come to Chicago, whether you decide to perform or not, there is no way I won't be there. OMG, to meet you in real life!! It would totally make my whole summer!
No folks, don't worry, it's not like *that*!! Ray is just one of the bestest and sweetest friends I have and I would just love to see him in real life. And maybe even meeting the Boss!! Woot, that would be way cool too. After all these years with Ray, I know she's a doll too! _________________ Joy is in the ears that hear

C'mon Fyrm, it IS possible to travel across oceans these days. We haz teh technologies.
I'm just trying to figure out how many of these things I can get to. I know Gwampa Lomu is planning one in the northeast and was talking about May 2010. I don't think I could do both, but I'd surely make a point of getting to one.
If I knew Fyrm was going to be at one, that would make the choice EASY. _________________ EvaMoon Ember in SL

I thought I was cured but read this and started puking again.
RayW, next time you get a compliment, you might ask for it straight-up. _________________ Silas Scarborough

awwww Silas
I wasn't baiting the line this time, honest!
I have been just a little jealous of all the fun my friends here have been having. And, I can't even get out 10 miles and see Suzen (Juel). So, some of it is my own fault.
But, Ticious knows that the "Boss" has a tight leash on me. And, I really think that if she met some of you, that she'd get a much better impression of what SL is all about for us.
As far as my comments about performing .. they are a factual representation of my last two RL gigs. But, that's another topic. _________________ Ray
