Grrrr.

Everything has been great until last week. With amazing coincidence, it seems that my MBP started crashing like mad in SL right about the same time the whole CSI/OnRez viewer stuff went into use.

I blame Electric Sheep.

There, I feel better. Pehaps this should have been in "rants". Mad

I try to avoid upgrading the viewer until it stops working.

But it is always worth repairing permissions and check you have a a fair amount of disk space free.

Well, my permissions are repaired... and I have 124.1GB available on my local drive alone. Should be enough, ya think? Very Happy

Not just MACturbators. I've been experiencing some wonderful, and timely crashes of late as well.

I had been on a really good streak, like, weeks without a crash. Then all of a sudden last week, one after the other. I had like three in ten minutes tonight. Mad

Well, I'm not on a Mac ... but, I crashed twice today .. and I haven't crashed in ages before this. So, maybe it's LL related.

I've been getting complaints of people crashing when they try to tip my venue (talk about ill timed!!!) and when they tip artists at my venue. But I have figured out that it's not just my venue, it's something in the process of making payments. I've been crashing when tipping other venues, musicians on other venues and once when I was paying one of my hosts via his profile. I haven't been shopping lately, but I can only imagine it's happening when you purchase stuff too.

Talk about a shitty place for a crash bug in a world that's supposed to have it's own economy!!

By the way, to anyone else who may be crashing when they pay folks...I have figured out that the payment goes through at least sometimes, but I also believe there are times when it doesn't. You should probably check your transaction history (on the Second Life website) before making a second attempt.
