I guess I must be doing something right that my shows are attracting griefers. Its no fun for them to attack an empty club! When its my own club, I always get hit in the middle of a song and can't do a thing about it. The couple of times we've had them come in, they usually got bored and left soon after showing their bums. When its somebody else's club they take care of it their own way. What I'd love is a tool I can give to my Harlee Johin to boot them with, but she is not the land owner so I don't know how she can do it.

Should I just arm her with a Chicken Cannon and teach her to aim that thing? Razz  Laughing  Razz

Von, the best thing to do is set your land to a group, then invite people that are going to help you to that group and give them authority to ban/eject in their group role.

Yeah, that's right, but I'm a scared to do it now. Last time I tried that very early on it returned all my objects. The land is set to group, but not owned by a group. Is that what you mean? If so, then I guess we've done that and I just need to adjust group authorities or something. If its owned by the group, I can't do that or my whole dang place will have to be re-done.

That happened to me at my Blue Haven club and to my biz partner, Loki at her Fool's Paradise pub (while Nad was actually performing....we're still teasing her about that one!! Laughing ).

This only happens if you deed the parcel to the group AND set it to group only build AND the objects on the parcel are not set to the appropriate group.  Best answer, don't ever set the parcel to group only build.  There are other ways to deal with object generating griefers (the usual reason for setting to group only build).  My method, use About Land to identify who has objects on the parcel who shouldn't, eject and ban them, then return all the objects to them, again via the About Land window.

When Kat and I first opened Coyote, we had several tenants in our mall area, and back then those tenants had mod rights within the group-owned property. I was playing a show there early on, and one of our tenants came over to check me out. She went to go tip me, accidentally selected one of the walls instead of my tip jar, and then got confused and hit the "take" selection of the pie menu.

The wall was linked to about 90% of the rest of the club. So there I was playing, and suddenly the whole place just... vanished. Abut 30 people found themselves dancing on the dirt under an open sky.

Glad I ain't the only one who did that. Yeah, Harlee gets their names and I ban them after the show, or during if its so bad I have to stop.
