I am going to start playing on Nitida Ridge the first Sunday of every month starting today.  Toby Lancaster is going to be playing with me today too! It'll be fun!

Bree wrote this and I stole it....

Djai is going to start playing on Nitida Ridge the first Sunday of every month starting today.  Djai sings and plays piano, his own wonderful originals, both rollicking tunes and heartfelt lyrics, that sweep his audiences along - his shows are great fun.  Occasionally, as today, Toby Lancaster will join him on guitar.

Djai and Toby are 2 of my oldest friends in Second Life and what a treat to have them in the same place at the same time  once again!

Try this locatorisation wibblet which will bring you through the trees so you have time to rez

I was there. It was a good show. It is not immediately obvious how an electric guitar might integrate with strident piano, but Toby's did brilliantly into Djai's pumping chordal attacks.

I felt that here were a couple of my fellow Brits just getting on with it and delivering really good music, with minimal hype. I liked that a lot. Could this be a plea for those folks across the pond to ease off with all the superlatives?

Hmmmm, perhaps the term "brilliant" should be used instead . . . prior to my year in London I'd never heard it used except in reference to bright light but during that year I heard it exclaimed, seemingly randomly, enough times to pay my airfare home! *wink*

Tishe! Can I just say how brilliant it is to know you are back. And I think it is awesome that you are typing, too. Btw, last year I felt some tingles in my fingers and I was worried about Repetitive What-Not Syndrome. So for about a month, I typed on my keyboard using two kiddies drawing pencils with rubber eraser tips on the blunt end. I hammered the erasers onto the keys. After a while, I became reasonably proficient at it. Normally I touch type with the proper fingers on the appropriate keys (a skill my dear old Mum taught me when I was bored in the school holidays, one summer many years ago).

So... Great to see you again, Tishe  Smile
